While it was utterly captivating as season one of Mindhunterwas but it wasn’t the phenomenon Netflix could have hoped for. However it was a success, the streaming service has now has a green light for a second season which premiered during the spring of 2019 and was equally as enjoyable and thrilling as the original season, and with many hoping Fincher as well as Netflix to bring us the third season sooner than later. This season has yet to be released however it’s highly likely. We’ve got everything we’ve learned about the upcoming 3rd season Mindhunter.

If the news wasn’t bad enough, the director is also busy setting several more directories between now and then and has already entered pre-production for the film The Killer with Paramount Pictures — which could mean at least another year will go by before Fincher even thinks about a Mindhunterreturn.
